Ordering

How far in advance do I need to place my order?

We recommend booking your appointment as early as possible, especially for special occasions, to ensure availability.

How do I know my order has been confirmed?

A confirmation email will be sent to you upon placing your order and payment is received. If you do not receive this email, please contact us immediately.

Payment

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept major credit cards, and bank e-transfers.

When is payment due?

Full payment is required at the time of order placement.

Cancellations

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellations must be made at least 3 days before the scheduled pick-up or delivery time for a full refund. A 50% cancellation fee applies to custom orders cancelled within this period.

Refunds

Can I get a refund if I am not satisfied with my order?

Refunds are available for products that are defective or not as described. Refund requests must be made within 24 hours of receiving your order. The products will have to be returned, and discarded by the store.

How do I cancel my order?

Please contact us via email or Facebook/Instagram messenger to cancel your order.

Are the products eligible for refunds?

Pre-designed and customized cakes and items that have been partially or fully consumed are not eligible for refunds.

How long does it take to process a refund?

Approved refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days using the original method of payment.

Returns

Do you accept returns?

Due to the perishable nature of our products, we do not accept returns. If there are any issues with your order, please contact us immediately to discuss a resolution.

Delivery

Quality Assurance and Pick Up

What is your policy on inspecting the cake at pick-up?

Customers are responsible for inspecting their cakes at the time of pick-up. Once the cake is picked up, Life'z-a-Cake is not liable for any damage or issues that occur during transportation.

What happens if I notice an issue with the cake after pick-up?

By picking up your order, you acknowledge that the quality and condition of the cake have been checked and accepted. We are not responsible for any damage that occurs after the cake has left our store premises.

How can I place my order?

Our orders are by appointment only, whether you choose pickup or delivery. Please check the Availability Page and click 'Book Now' to view our calendar and reserve your date and time.

Can I reschedule or cancel my appointment?

Yes, you can reschedule or cancel your appointment by clicking 'Book Now' on our Availability Page and selecting a new date or by contacting us at least 3 days in advance.

Do you offer delivery services?

Yes, we offer delivery services for your convenience. Your booked appointment is also applicable for delivery. We strive to deliver your order promptly, but please allow an additional minutes for delivery to ensure everything arrives in perfect condition.
