What are your business hours?

We're open for pre-order pickups and appointments from 11 AM to 5 PM, seven days a week, including weekends. Please note, we operate out of a commissary kitchen and do not have a walk-in cafe. All orders are by pre-order only.

Ordering

How far in advance do I need to place my order?

We recommend booking your appointment as early as possible, especially for special occasions, to ensure availability.

How do I know my order has been confirmed?

A confirmation email will be sent to you upon placing your order and payment is received. If you do not receive this email, please contact us immediately.

Payment

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept major credit cards, and bank e-transfers.

When is payment due?

Payment terms depend on the type of order you place:

For items ordered directly from our Shop page: Full payment is due at the time of placing your order online to secure your treats and chosen pickup/delivery slot.

For custom orders: A 50% non-refundable deposit is required on the day of confirming your order details to secure your booking and begin the planning process. The remaining 50% balance will be due one week prior to your event date. You will receive an invoice with a payment link for both the deposit and the final balance.

Cancellations

What is your cancellation policy?

We understand that plans can change. Cancellations are allowed with a full refund provided you notify us at least one week (7 days) prior to your scheduled pickup, delivery, or event date. Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel your order.

Refunds

Can I get a refund if I am not satisfied with my order?

Refunds are available for products that are defective or not as described. Refund requests must be made within 24 hours of receiving your order. The products will have to be returned, and discarded by the store.

How do I cancel my order?

Please contact us via email or Facebook/Instagram messenger to cancel your order.

Are the products eligible for refunds?

Due to the perishable and custom nature of our baked goods, all sales are final once the product has been accepted and taken from our possession. We highly recommend inspecting your order immediately upon pickup or delivery.

Refunds or replacements will only be considered for demonstrable defects in quality or significant errors on our part, provided we are notified immediately upon receipt. Claims for products that have been partially or fully consumed are generally not eligible for refunds as we cannot verify the claim without the product for inspection.

How long does it take to process a refund?

Approved refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days using the original method of payment.

Returns

Do you accept returns?

Due to the perishable nature of our products, we do not accept returns. If there are any issues with your order, please contact us immediately to discuss a resolution.

Delivery

Quality Assurance and Pick Up

What is your policy on inspecting the cake at pick-up?

Customers are responsible for inspecting their cakes at the time of pick-up. Once the cake is picked up, Life'z-A-Cake is not liable for any damage or issues that occur during transportation.

What happens if I notice an issue with the cake after pick-up?

By picking up your order, you acknowledge that the quality and condition of the cake have been checked and accepted. We are not responsible for any damage that occurs after the cake has left our store premises.

How can I place my order?

At Life'z-A-Cake, all of our delicious treats are available by pre-order only. We offer two convenient ways to order:

For pre-designed cakes and sweets: You can easily place your order online through our Shop page. Simply browse our selection, add items to your cart, and proceed to checkout where you can select your preferred pickup or delivery date and time.

For custom orders or special requests: Please get in touch with us directly! You can submit your inquiry through our Contact Form or email us. Once we understand your needs, we'll provide a detailed quote and a convenient invoice with a payment link to finalize your order.

Can I reschedule or cancel my appointment?

Yes, we understand that sometimes plans shift! You can reschedule your order provided you give us at least 5 days' notice prior to your original pickup, delivery, or event date. Please contact us as soon as possible to arrange a new time.

Do you offer delivery services?

Yes, we offer delivery services for your convenience. We strive to deliver your order promptly, but please allow an additional minutes for delivery to ensure everything arrives in perfect condition.
